Western Australia - THIEVES have allegedly stolen more than $17,000 worth of jewellery from Shark Bay's Blue Lagoon Pearl shop.
Shark Bay police are investigating the thefts which have occurred over the last two weeks.

Police believe the jewellery was stolen from Blue Lagoon's shop on Knight Terrace, Denham.

Some of the stolen pendants are hand made and consist of opals encased in pearl with a gold setting.

Three of the pendants have diamonds incorporated into the pendants. The jewellery is valued at over $17,000.00.

Anyone who has any information of the theft of the jewellery is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Queen Elizabeth recently addressed the United Nations. This quote from Politics Daily stood out to us: "Her hat, suit, pearls and diamond brooch were visual throwbacks to empires of dust, wars won and lost, and countless speeches delivered by the famous and the infamous."
